Thank you for visiting my blog! I have enjoyed reading other teacher's blogs for a few months now, and I am very excited to launch my own! I just finished my second year of teaching. During my first year I taught third grade and loved it. Due to lower enrollment, my position was cut and I was moved to second grade, and I loved every bit of that too! I recently found out that I will be moving to fifth grade reading and social studies. It will be a new challenge!
I am also pursuing my Master's degree in Reading and ESL instruction! So, really, I love all levels of elementary education, and I plan to blog about many topics outside of my grade-level.
So, since no blog post is complete without a picture, here are a few for tonight...
My classroom at the beginning of this past year...
Don't you love how everything is so clean at the beginning of the year?! Lasts for about a week...
Here is my favorite place to be in the classroom...I love doing guided reading groups and other things at this table!
My second favorite place to be in the classroom: I love reading to my class.
